Two crafts, one voice
Every course moves between two studios: one where lines are built, one where they're carried into rhythm, the way a current settles into its bed. Students usually work in both each week.
01 — On the page
The workshop side. You'll build lines the way a luthier builds an instrument — testing weight, sound, and joinery before anything gets performed.
02 — On the breath
The voice side. Chant strips a line down to pulse and pitch, so you learn to carry it on breath before you ever perform it for a room.
Book a session
Start wherever the work is — on paper or in the throat. Each format runs as a small group, so there's room for every voice to be heard.
An entry lesson covering the basics of both crafts: writing a four-line verse, then chanting it in a steady pulse.
A close look at repetition — how a returning line holds a piece together, and when to let it change.
Breath, pulse, and call-and-response drills for carrying written lines aloud without losing their shape.
